The Women Empower Expo is a movement for women to collaborate and connect with people in their community to drive change in their own lives and in the world.
About Women Empower Expo

Featuring world-class speakers located in the host city of our event and a marketplace of hundreds of local businesses, the Women Empower Expo gathers thousands of females who are ready to feel empowered in their personal and professional life.

Be prepared to discover new products and services from local entrepreneurs, connect with female leaders who are changing the world, form a girl gang that will support you in turning your dreams into reality, and leave feeling more rejuvenated and empowered than ever before.

The WEX differs from many other female-driven events because we focus on the host city where WEX is located. We do this so we can create a community of empowered women located nearby as we have seen how COMMUNITY DRIVES CHANGE.

Our events bring in thousands of people (men and women) and are held in some of the largest convention centers in North America but each event feels intimate and personal to you. Throughout the day we have concurrent breakout sessions going on and a 30,000+ sq ft marketplace filled with exhibitors. Our tracks include:

  • Women's Issues & Progress in Change
  • Health & Wellness
  • Business & Entrepreneurship
  • Personal Development
  • Fashion & Beauty
  • Parenting & Relationships

Be part of The Women Empower Expo by attending one of our upcoming events in Washington D.C. and Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Alexa Carlin is a nationally renowned public speaker, Founder of the Women Empower Expo (WEX), and Creator of Alexa Co-Founded the Women Empower Expo in 2016 after noticing a need for a national event to connect like-minded women who are passionate about making a difference in the world. In January 2017, Alexa became the sole owner of WEX and was named one of fifteen "Top Young Professionals To Watch" by Meetings & Conventions Magazine landing the cover story after just hosting one event.

Alexa's drive to make a difference was inspired after a near-death experience that happened during her senior year at the University of Florida in 2013 leaving her with a 1% chance of living. This experience inspired Alexa to share her story vulnerably to audiences all over the world through public speaking. Her authentic message of resilience and empowerment has led her to grow an engaged following of over 50,000 people on social media.

Alexa has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network and in The Huffington Post, Glamour Magazine, Mashable, Gold Coast Magazine, and The Sun-Sentinel among others. Alexa's mission with the Women Empower Expo is to create events in select cities in North America (to start) to foster a community of women who collaborate versus compete and feel empowered to create a positive change in the world.

"In order to empower others, you must first empower yourself." -Alexa Carlin
